Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 19, 2026
Twin.today helps users turn resume information into a structured professional profile and interact with AI-powered profile chat experiences. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when profile content may become public, and what choices users have.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication details.
- Uploaded content, such as resumes or other text you provide to build or refine a profile.
- Profile data, including information you review, edit, save, or publish through Twin.today.
- AI chat inputs and outputs, including prompts, messages, and generated responses in preview or public profile chat experiences.
- Usage and technical information, such as timestamps, request logs, browser or device metadata, and basic diagnostics used to operate, secure, and improve the product.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- create, store, and display profile content;
- process resume uploads and generate structured profile drafts;
- provide AI-assisted chat and profile-related responses;
- support publishing and hosting of public profile pages;
- protect the service against abuse, spam, and misuse;
- troubleshoot issues and provide support; and
- maintain product performance, reliability, and beta readiness.
3. Public profile visibility
Twin.today includes a publishing flow. When you choose to publish a profile, the content you publish may become publicly accessible on the internet through a public profile URL.
You are responsible for reviewing profile content before publishing. Do not publish private, confidential, or sensitive information unless you are comfortable making it public.
Unpublished draft content is intended to remain non-public, subject to the normal operation of the service and its storage providers.
4. AI processing and limitations
Twin.today uses AI to help structure profile information and generate chat responses. This may include processing resume content, profile data, and user prompts through third-party AI services.
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. Users should review generated content carefully before publishing or relying on it.
Please avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your intended use of the service.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to operate Twin.today. These may include:
- Supabase for authentication, data storage, and related backend functionality.
- OpenAI for AI-powered processing and response generation.
Information may be shared with these providers as needed to deliver the service.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain published profiles, support users, investigate abuse, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Drafts, published profiles, logs, and support-related data may be retained for different periods depending on product needs and manual cleanup processes during beta.
7. Your choices
You can choose whether to publish a profile publicly.
If you want a published profile removed, or if you want to request deletion of associated account or profile data, contact us at support@twin.today.
We may need to verify the request before taking action, especially for public profile removal requests.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Users should avoid uploading information they would not want processed by third-party infrastructure or accidentally made public through publishing.
9. Children’s privacy
Twin.today is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
